How do I become part of “Servant of the Word”?
First, you need to complete the Genesis study and yonsu in order to take the training class to become a “servant of the word”. Afterwards, if you have the passion to share God’s word with others or have the desire to spread God’s grace to others, you should consult the sister at the Bible Study Center. We welcome anyone who would like to join us!

Who should I contact if I am interested in starting the Bible Study?
If you are interested, you can contact the volunteer who is in charge of the program in the region who are located. For additional information, please use the “Registration” located under the menu.

Is there a crash course for the Bible Study? / Is it possible to finish the program faster?
Because of the way that this program is taught, we haven’t came up with a crash course yet. However, it is possible to help students who want to finish the study during the summer vacation.. For more information, please contact the “Servant of the Word” center in your region and speak with a volunteer.

Why should we do bible study?
It is so easy to forget about the words of God in our daily lives. Bible study is that helps us to cover what we lack and need. Through the bible study, we can seek God as well as guidance how we should live.

Do we have to do Yonsu?
Yonsu is a time to review the bible study you have done. It also helps us to see how our lives have been changed through the words of God. So it is necessary to have yonsu after finishing the bible study.

Without Yonsu, Can’t we do next bible study?
Unless you have a specific reason why you cannot participate in yonsu, you cannot do next bible study. It is recommended that you talk with Sister first about this matter.

Is there any age limit to study the word?
You have to be at least 12th grade to study the word.

How long it takes to study the word?
It depends on subject and your group. Commonly, we study one chapter in one week, like Genesis has 14 chapters (14 weeks), Exodus has 12 chapters (12 weeks). Also it depend on your group, like group canceled, having vacation, and have Easter or Christmas week while you study the word.

How many Yonsu in a year?
There is two yonsu for each subject at either Temecula or Bible Center at Buena Park.

Can non-Catholic or to-be-Catholic, study the word?
You must be baptized first in order to study the word, since you read the bible based on faith.

What if I live the area where no servant(s) is/are around?
For those who live in the area(s) where no servant(s) is/are around, we might be able to provide crash courses during your vacation or break.
